• Rabigh Arabian Water and Electricity Co. "RAWEC" (the Rabigh IWSPP): This $1.3 billion transaction will provide water, power and steam to serve the largest petrochemical complex in the Gulf region (a Saudi Aramco - Sumitomo Chemical Corporation partnership). This plant will utilize heavy crude oil as fuel. Steam turbines will generate power, while desalination will take place through reverse osmosis.
